Meet Cobba and Cookie, 2 of the stars of the Paws in The Gardens Exhibition.

Today's spotlight shines on Cobba, the gentle giant of a Wolfhound, and Cookie, the serious and focused German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP). Their unique personalities and dynamics create a delightful contrast, painting a vivid portrait of the beautiful diversity found within our beloved canine companions.

Here is Cobba and Cookies story

Written by their #1 Human - Angela

After many years of not being in a work or Life position to responsibly commit to a dog, Life Changes and events in 2021 led me to Cobba.
From a young age I always loved Wolfhound crosses.
First pup in the litter born west of Clermont, the breeder recognised in his first few weeks of life that "Cobba" would probably be a Loyal companion rather than hunter.

Cobba was raised by.

.his ginger cat brother, 3 pigs, 4 goats and a herd of cows.

Always relaxed, happy and chilled when around them. He especially loves the calves, licking their faces and resting next to them

In 2022 “Cobba” had his Catahoula X cousin come and stay for 2 weeks and they happily played and slept, so when she left I could see “Cobba”s sadness and knowing dogs are pack animals, I decided to find him a sister.

After researching a few breeds I picked “Cookie”

an older GSP puppy from Warwick.

The 2 instantly became best friends, playing, sleeping, zoomies and sniffing things out together.
Cookie is opposite to Cobba, she has no off button, constantly with a ball or toy, everywhere you are (including the bathroom). She annoys her ginger cat brother, rides on the 4 wheeler, mower & tractor. With all her energy morning walks aren’t enough so she enrolled in Public & Private training. Slowly making her way to agility, scent work & trials.
Cookie loves to sit on Cobba & also wrestle & zoom with him.
