Before You Apply

Here’s What You Need to Know


📍 Location:

Sessions will take place in Mackay, QLD between May and July 2025 at handpicked outdoor locations (think beautiful beaches and parks!).

🐾 Who Can Apply:

Pets of all shapes, sizes, and breeds are welcome. All they need is to be friendly, comfortable outdoors, and up for a little adventure. No fancy tricks or perfect obedience required!

💛 Giving Back:

Your participation fee will be donated to Mackay Pet Rescue Inc to help animals in need - so by participating, you're also giving back to the pet community.

📸 What’s Included with the $150 Participation Fee:

  • A 30-minute outdoor photo session in the Mackay region
  • A guaranteed feature in the 2025 edition of Tails of the World
  • One complimentary 8"x12" Matted print
  • The option to purchase additional artwork and products after your session.

📖 Book Availability:

The book will be available for purchase worldwide once published in November 2025.

📝 What Happens After You Apply:

Once you submit the form your application will be reviewed. There are only 10 spots available, and applications will be reviewed in the order they are received.

If we receive more than 10 applications, those who best align with the vision and goals of the book will be prioritised.

To ensure a smooth process, please refrain from reaching out regarding application status. Only selected applicants will be contacted with further details.










Required - These will feature in the book. For Example - What's their story? What does your pet love? How did you become Pawrents? What are your favourite things to do together? Do they have a special talent? Why do they deserve to feature in the book? etc.
