Pet photography basics
Get on their level
Kneel or lie down to be at eye level with your pet. This perspective makes your photos more engaging and shows the world from your pet's point of view.

Use Treats & Toys
Hold up a favorite toy or treat near your phone to grab your pet's attention. This can help them look directly at the camera and stay still for the photo.

Find good Light
Take photos in areas with plenty of natural light, like near windows or outside. Good lighting helps your pictures look clear and bright.
Be Patient
Pets might not always cooperate, and that's okay. Be patient, keep the mood light, and enjoy the process. The more fun you have, the better your photos will turn out.

Pet Safety

Chocolate
Chocolate contains theobromine, which is toxic to dogs and cats. Dark chocolate poses a higher risk due to its increased theobromine content.

Xylitol
This artificial sweetener, found in sugar-free candies and gums and some Peanut Butters, is extremely toxic to pets, even in small amounts.

Hot Cross Buns
Traditional hot cross buns often contain raisins, sultanas, or currants, which are highly toxic to dogs and can cause acute kidney failure. Even a small amount can be dangerous.

Easter Egg hunts
When you're having an Easter egg hunt, make sure your pets stay away from the area. Some treats, like chocolate, can make them very sick. After the hunt, double-check that all eggs are found so your furry friends don't accidentally eat something harmful.

Decorations and wrappings
Items like plastic Easter grass and foil wrappings can cause intestinal blockages if ingested. Ensure these materials are kept away from pets and disposed of properly.

Visitors
Well-meaning visitors may
unknowingly give harmful foods to pets or leave
toxic items within reach. If you have visitors over easter make sure they know what's safe and what's not for your Pups.
