Does your Dog have a Job? If you have a working dog (Assistance dog, Guide dog, Search & Rescue Dog, Detection Dog,.....etc) and live in the Mackay region, their portrait could feature in the Tropical Petography "Dogs with Jobs" Exhibition.

How to Apply:


Sessions will take place on limited dates between August 2024 and May 2025.

The exhibition will be on display in 2025

Step 1:

Complete the application form opposite. There are Limited places available, so be quick! Due to the amount of time and effort involved in creating the artworks, preference will be given to those who are interested in purchasing artwork from their session.


Step 2:

If selected you will be contacted by Tropical Petography to discuss your application, answer any questions you may have and work out dates.


Step 3:

Successful applicants will pay a $25 session retainer/Date holding fee to lock in their session date and time and guarantee their dogs place in the exhibition. Note: Clients will receive a $50 print/wall art credit at their Photo session which can be used at their image consultation. Clients will also receive an 8"x12" Matted print from their Dogs photo session.

Step 4:

The photo session will take place either at your home, a local park or your pets place of work.

Step 5:

At your image consultation you will have the opportunity to choose your favourite image for your complimentary 8"x12" matted print. You will also have the opportunity to purchase additional prints/ wall art.

Note: the artwork included with the Dogs with Jobs photo sessions is an 8"x12" Matted print.
